Polar Bear Paw-closeup

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Here’s a closeup of a polar bear paw that I took at the Alaska Zoo last week.

Magnificent isn’t it? Soon I’ll have more photos of polar bears, brown bears, and black bears and much more with my promised blog about my trip to Alaska. My computer died 5 days before my trip and I just got my new one and am setting it up. So come back to see more great shots like this one. I’ll also have photos I took of Price William Sound - WOW, what an incredibly beautiful place!

A special thanks to Jim Adams, Director of National Wildlife Federation’s Alaska Natural Resource Center for making my trip possible; to Robert Buchannan, president of Polar Bears International for introducing me to Pat Lampi, Director of the Alaska Zoo, who gave me a personal tour of the zoo. The trip was a real eye-opener and made me even more determined to do what I can to save our planet’s animals and the environment for future generations.

Bear hugs, Frankie
